The absolute star of the show is the extraordinary roasted maple neck, featuring a dark tint, AAA flame figuring and gold mother-of-pearl inlays. The flame continues across the headstock and fretboard, making this one of the most visually impressive necks you’re likely to see in person.
Team-built by Fender’s finest artisans, this Custom Shop Strat combines vintage-inspired specifications with modern refinements. It features a nitrocellulose-finished Transparent Ebony body with ’57-style deep contours, a modern contoured neck heel and pocket, an anodised gold pickguard and backplate, and a chrome ashtray bridge cover. Electronics comprise a trio of Fender Custom Shop Fat ’60s pickups, with a reverse-wound middle pickup to help cancel background hum.
This guitar is in immaculate condition and has been professionally set up with Ernie Ball 10-gauge strings. It plays beautifully with low action and no buzz, and comes complete with its original G&G hard case, relevant paperwork and accessories as shown. The headstock has been refinished with nitro overlacquer.
