Taylor Grand Theater Urban Ash | Natural

£1,250.00

Available now is this fantastic Taylor GT Urban Ash, offering a beautifully balanced combination of compact dimensions, comfortable playability and surprisingly full acoustic tone. The Grand Theater body sits perfectly between a travel guitar and a traditional full-sized acoustic, making it an excellent choice for players seeking premium sound in a more manageable size.

Featuring all-solid construction, the guitar pairs a solid Sitka spruce top with solid Urban Ash back and sides. Sourced from Shamel ash trees removed from urban areas in Southern California, Urban Ash offers an interesting sustainable element alongside its excellent tonal qualities.

Tonally, the spruce top provides clarity and projection and it’s balanced, focused voice works beautifully for both fingerstyle and strumming. This example has also been fitted with a Vertech passive soundhole pickup, allowing you to plug in while retaining the guitar’s natural character.

The guitar is in excellent overall condition, with just one small mark on the back from previous contact with a stand. It plays beautifully with low action and no buzz, and has been set up with Ernie Ball 11-gauge strings. It comes complete with the excellent Taylor AeroCase. Originally priced at nearly £2,000, this represents fantastic value for an all-solid Taylor of this quality!
